Ubirr Sunset Tour

The Ubirr Sunset Tour is a great way to ensure you don’t miss out on this beautiful experience. If you are in a rental car you will usually find you are not insured for night driving here in Kakadu.  We can get a bit of wildlife on our roads and it is advisable to sit back, relax and let someone else do the driving for you.  This is the only Ubirr Sunset Tour so please book early to avoid missing out.

Ubirr’s cool rocky shelters provided shade for the local people of this area whilst hunting nearby. The rock art at Ubirr is considered among the best in the world and much of the art here features the food that was collected and hunted in this area.

A 250 meter moderately steep climb to the top to enjoy the 360 degree view of Arnhem Land and Nadab Floodplain is well worth the effort.
