Start your Kakadu & Katherine Small Group Tour at 2pm at the Hilton Hotel in Darwin, the vibrant heart of the Northern Territory. Touch down and immediately dive into the local culture at Aboriginal Bush Traders. Here, you can sample delicious native flavors and browse through stunning Indigenous art. To explore more of the city, take a short walking tour to trace its history through landmarks like Parliament House, Government House, and the beautifully restored historical Administration Building.

You’ll glide along the East Alligator River, encountering unique wildlife and gaining fascinating insights into traditional customs and practices from local Aboriginal guides.

After, you’ll have some free time for lunch in the town of Katherine. This afternoon, you’ll embark on an unforgettable Sunset Dinner Cruise along the majestic Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge. Marvel at the towering cliffs and ancient rock formations that tell a story of millennia of natural history.
After a day of blissful moments, you’ll return to the luxurious sanctuary of Cicada Lodge, where the comforts of home await in the rugged beauty of Nitmiluk National Park.

On the final day of your Kakadu & Katherine Small Group Tour enjoy one last breakfast at Cicada Lodge before setting out for your final adventure. Travel to a different part of Nitmiluk National Park, where the enchanting Leliyn (Edith) Falls await. Here you can take a refreshing swim in the natural oasis, surrounded by cascading waterfalls (seasonal). As the day comes to a close, you’ll travel up the Stuart Highway to Darwin, where your tour ends. Reflect on the incredible memories made amidst the stunning landscapes and cultural treasures of the Top End.
