Itinerary

7:00 AM – Check-in (Darwin)

Arrive for check-in at the Darwin terminal.

7:30 AM – Scenic flight to Arnhem Land

Your Arnhem Land Scenic Flight Tour from Darwin begins with a spectacular scenic flight over Kakadu National Park and the surrounding regions.

9:00 AM – Arrival and welcome

Land at Davidson’s Arnhem Land Safaris and transfer by open Land Cruiser safari vehicle. Stop at the lodge for restroom facilities and a brief introduction to the day.

9:15 AM – Bush and cultural tour

Depart on a guided bush tour, often visiting nearby rock art sites such as the Rainbow Serpent site. Learn about ancient rock art, local Amurdak culture, bush tucker, bush medicine and the geology of the region. Morning tea is included.

12:30 PM – Lunch at the lodge

Return to the lodge for a two-course lunch inspired by the region. A fully stocked licensed bar is available, with beverages for purchase.

1:30 PM – Boat tour on Cooper Creek

Travel by open Land Cruiser through changing landscapes before boarding a relaxing cruise on Cooper Creek. Spot abundant birdlife, estuarine and freshwater crocodiles, and view rock art and cultural artefacts before returning to the lodge.

5:00 PM – Return scenic flight to Darwin

Depart Arnhem Land for the scenic return flight.

By 6:00 PM – Arrive back in Darwin

Arrive back in Darwin in the early evening.
