Day 1 – Nourlangie & Yellow Water Cruise

Your 3 day Kakadu tour begins with a stop at the Bark Hut before entering the World Heritage–listed park. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Anbangbang Billabong with views of Burrunguy (Nourlangie Rock), followed by a visit to the rock art galleries and a short walk to Gunwhardewharde Lookout for spectacular escarpment views.

Finish the day with a refreshing swim before boarding the iconic Yellow Water Sunset Cruise, famous for crocodiles, birdlife and breathtaking colours across the wetlands.

Day 2 – Gunlom & Maguk 

After breakfast, travel by 4WD to Gunlom Falls, one of Kakadu’s most photographed swimming locations. Enjoy the hike to the natural infinity pools overlooking southern Kakadu, followed by a swim at the beautiful lower plunge pool.

Continue to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) for a short forest walk and light rock scramble leading to a pristine waterfall and deep plunge pool. If time permits, visit the Warradjan Cultural Centre to learn more about local Aboriginal culture.

Day 3 – Ubirr & East Alligator River

Visit the tidal East Alligator River to spot crocodiles and birdlife before traveling to Ubirr, home to some of Australia’s most significant Aboriginal rock art. After exploring the galleries, climb to the lookout for 360° views over the Nardab floodplains and Arnhem Land.

On the return journey, stop at Mamukala Wetlands for birdwatching and finish with a drink at the famous Humpty Doo Hotel before returning to Darwin around 5 pm.
