We’ll head straight towards Kakadu National Park to start the day with a wildlife cruise on Corroboree Billabong. This is a fantastic chance to see crocodiles and lots of beautiful birdlife up close in their natural home. After the cruise, we continue our drive and stop for a picnic lunch near the East Alligator River. Keep an eye out—you might spot more crocs and flying foxes!
In the afternoon, we visit the world-famous Ubirr rock art site in the northern part of the park. You’ll see some of the best examples of Northern Australian Aboriginal rock art and learn the meaning behind these special paintings from your guide. A short climb to the top offers stunning 360-degree views over the Nardab floodplains and into Arnhem Land.
We finish the day by settling into our exclusive campsite at Mardugal Billabong in the heart of Kakadu.

Get ready for a big day exploring the beautiful swimming spots of Kakadu!
Our first stop is Maguk (Barramundi Gorge). After an easy -minute walk along the creek bed, you’ll reach a stunning plunge pool. Take a refreshing swim here, surrounded by tall, rocky cliffs. Next, we’ll let our 4WD vehicle take us to the southern end of the park to visit Gunlom Falls. This amazing spot features a large, emerald-coloured waterhole hidden by eucalyptus and paperbark trees.
