Kakadu National Park is a timeless place – a landscape of exceptional beauty and diversity. Mangrove fringed coastal areas blend into expansive flood plains, lowland hills flanked to the east by sandstone excarpments, all interwoven between various open woodland and forest habitats. Kakadu is teeming with wildlife in the water, on the land and in the air, there are many species which provide a diversity and concentration seen nowhere else. The land takes on a different forms and different colours with the passing of each season.
Join this 1 Day Kakadu tour from Darwin and Travel across Adelaide River and Marrakai Plains and deep into Kakadu. Stop at Nourlangie Rock, where your Guide will lead a walk to view ancient Aboriginal rock art. After lunch we join our local guide for a cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong. Search for saltwater Crocodiles and the colourful range of bird life for which Kakadu National Park is renowned. Visit the Warradjan Cultural Centre and view the informative displays depicting the traditions of the Aboriginal people in Kakadu, before returning to Darwin. There is the opportunity for an optional 50 minute Scenic Flight over Kakadu (own expense). Lunch included.

Optional Kakadu Air Scenic Flight. The optional scenic flight is to be arranged on board for tours departing before the 1st April 2019. For tours departing from 1 April 2019 the scenic flight can be booked at the time of booking your tour. If you choose to do the flight it is in lieu of the Cultural Centre.
