1 Day Taste of Kakadu Festival 2026

On Saturday 23 May 2026, Kakadu National Park will host one of its most unique cultural celebrations in the Top End — the Taste of Kakadu Festival.

What to Expect

Held at the Bowali Visitor Centre, this special one-day event brings together food, culture and community in a way that reflects over 65,000 years of living Indigenous heritage. Bowali transforms into a vibrant festival hub featuring the below and visitors can take part in hands-on activities including traditional painting, weaving, bush spice workshops and didgeridoo demonstrations.
