Footprints of Kakadu operates from mid-June to mid-October subject to accessibility and road conditions.
If you don’t have your own 4wd vehicle and you want to see some of Kakadu’s hidden treasures this is the way to do it. The Footprints of Kakadu tour and sit back and relax as your guide takes you through the southern end of the World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park. The tour visits the world famous Gunlom Falls and the stunning Ikoymarrwa Rock Pool. Finish the day with drinks and canapes by a private billabong.

Duration: Approx 10 hours
Departs: 6.45 am from Jabiru & 7.30 am from Cooinda
Returns: 5.30 pm approx. to Cooinda & 6.15 pm approx. to Jabiru

Fitness requirement: Low level of fitness required
Itinerary subject to change due to conditions.
Note: Footprints of Kakadu is not recommended for children under 8 years of age. This tour is less strenuous than the Spirit of Kakadu Tour meaning a lower level of fitness if required, however, some walking is involved. For those passengers that are feeling a bit more active you will have the opportunity to go to the top of Gunlom to the Infinity Pool.
