Flights over Kakadu are often the highlight for visitors to the park.  The sheer size of Kakadu is something that can only be appreciated from the air.

Ensure you pre book your Kakadu Fight in advance to avoid disappointment.  Unlike other tours the helicopters can only accommodate a minimum amount of people depending on weight and pre booking will ensure you do not miss out on getting a birds eye view of Kakadu.  The Helicopter Flights depart from Jabiru Airport which is a 10 minute drive from the township of Jabiru.  Please note there are not Helicopter Flights departing from Cooinda.  If you are staying at Cooinda there are plane flights in the dry season.  If you are visiting Kakadu in the off/wet season you will have to drive to Jabiru (55klms) to experience Kakadu from the air.
