If you are coming to Kakadu in peak season please ensure you book your tours early to avoid missing out. June, July & August are the busiest months here in Kakadu and some tours have limited availability. If you are wanting to go to off-road areas and don’t have your own 4wd vehicle to do so you will need to join a tour. These tours are very popular due to most visitors being in rental vehicles and not able to go on unsealed roads. If you wait until you arrive you will more than likely miss out.
